Hatching a Dinosaur Egg

One lazy weekend, Edward and I have decided to hatch a dinosaur egg. A toy we haven’t played with despite it being bought a long time ago. This was purchased from Powerbooks for 44 Php.

The instruction was pretty simple. Submerge the egg in a container with water. And in 12-24 hours, the egg would hatch and a dinosaur will appear.
My initial problem was the egg won’t sink.

After a few hours, probably around 4-5 hours it finally sinked…

Our dinosaur is slowly coming out. At 12 hours or so…

At around 16 hours, it was finally out.

And at 24 hours… Our baby dinosaur which Edward named Nino.

This toy is interesting and I was able to teach Edward the concept of Float and Sink.

Lego City 60000

Finally, we started building our Christmas Town with Lego City 60000 set.

As expected, building the set was easy with the help of the booklet.

Upon unboxing the toy, here’s what we have… Booklet, stickers and the lego parts.

We’ve been trying out different brands lately. Our fingers didn’t get sore assembling the set. As we would have in other brands.
For the finale… Tada… I like how the helmet can be opened and how the Lego Figure can sit, I mean stand on the motorcycle.

Last of all, I like the idea of having spare parts. Good job Lego! We love this set. Simple yet entertaining.

Disney Cars Memory Game

Hi Folks! Since Edward is a big fan of Disney Cars, I've layout a memory game for him. Instead of buying a set for 199 in Toy Kingdom, I chose his favorite characters and printed out our own set. We've pasted on a cereal box and we are ready to go!

You can customize your own by using the file below. I got the pictures from Takara Tomy
