1st Official Day as SAHM

Yes! Finally, the journey begins. So the first day, I thought I would spend most of the time in school. Ehm! Wrong! Since we can’t see anything, husband and I went on a date. From Lucky Chinatown to 168 to Merriam Bookstore to the warehouse sale.
After school, we even went to watch a movie. Epic fail but the long awaited date finally happened. I guess I’ll try again tomorrow.
Here are our haul.

This was a lucky find and Edward destroyed the carton even before I took a picture. Sigh!

Easter Sunday 2015

Easter Sunday is one of the events Edward looks forward to as we have an Easter egg hunt at home. For this year, aside from the Easter egg hunt, we had a family game. Thanks to Mr Printables. The game was entertaining for Edward. And it was cute for me. Of course, preparation was done prior to today. The game was simple for a toddler to understand and enjoy.  Please note that our board game would have more eggs as our printer was not working as expected. Hence tons of extra eggs.
For this year story time, we had the following books. Mater and the Easter Buggy and Corduroy’s Easter Party.
This year Easter Egg Hunt started with this…

Majority of the eggs goodies are recycled toys of Edward. But he still enjoyed looking for eggs.

One good find from SNR is Crunch eggs for only 200 Php, way cheaper than last year’s goodies.

I’ll try to look for more activities to do for next year.

Disney Cars Dominoes

image
Since Edward is a bit fascinated with Disney Cars, we’ve decided to try buying a Domino and teach him the concept of the game.
The first instruction was okay. Get 5 Dominoes, no issue. When it was the game proper, he doesn’t want to let go of his tiles. We tried playing to show him, he was messing up the tiles in the middle. Haha worth the try. Can’t wait for him to learn board games. Would want to play with him next time.
For 200 Php, the tiles are actually decent. It’s kinda heavy. Not the usual cheap plastic you see on board games.

Disney Cars Memory Game

Hi Folks! Since Edward is a big fan of Disney Cars, I've layout a memory game for him. Instead of buying a set for 199 in Toy Kingdom, I chose his favorite characters and printed out our own set. We've pasted on a cereal box and we are ready to go!

You can customize your own by using the file below. I got the pictures from Takara Tomy
